Tarc is a free, gamified app for learning Arabic and Latvian. It's built around short daily lessons, spaced-repetition review, streaks, quests, and a global leaderboard — the same mechanics that make habit-forming apps effective, applied to actually learning a language.

Turkish, Russian, English, German, and French are on the roadmap for future courses, though none are built yet — each has a reference page under Learn covering the language itself, with a way to get notified when a course ships.
Lessons are organized into short daily units. Correct answers earn XP and gems; consistent daily practice builds a streak. A spaced-repetition review system resurfaces material you've learned at increasing intervals, so it sticks. Achievements, daily quests, and a global leaderboard add motivation on top of the core lesson loop.
You can start learning immediately without creating an account — progress is saved to your device. Creating a free account (via Google or email) lets your progress sync across devices.
Tarc is free to use. There is an optional in-app shop ("Tarc Souq") where you can spend gems — a virtual currency earned by completing lessons and quests — on cosmetic items and XP boosts. There is no real-money purchase anywhere in the app.
