Getting Started with Tarc

Last updated 2026-07-09 1 min read

Tarc is a web app (at tarc.pro) and an Android app, both built from the same codebase. You can start learning immediately, with no sign-up step.

Your first session

  1. Open tarc.pro in a browser, or open the Tarc Android app.
  2. On first launch, choose your interface language (English, O'zbek, Русский, or Türkçe) from the language picker.
  3. You land on the Learn tab, showing your daily goal ring, streak, and the current course's learning path.
  4. Tap the highlighted lesson node on the learning path to start your first lesson.

What you can do without an account

This is called Guest Mode — the full lesson experience (courses, quizzes, streaks, XP, gems, quests, achievements) works without creating an account. Progress is saved to your device only.

Switching languages

Tarc currently teaches Arabic and Latvian. Use the course switcher (the "All courses" pill on the Learn tab) to change which course you're working through.

Creating an account later

You don't need to decide upfront — you can use Guest Mode for as long as you like, then create an account whenever you want your progress to sync across devices. Your existing guest progress is merged into the new account automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to create an account to use Tarc?

No. The full lesson experience works in Guest Mode without an account — see Guest Mode for details.

Which languages does Tarc teach?

Arabic and Latvian. Additional languages (Turkish, Russian, English, German, French) are planned but not yet available — see the Learn hub for details.

What happens to my progress if I create an account later?

Your existing guest progress is automatically merged into the new account rather than replaced or lost.
